the “audenship” a term coined for our 12 week immersive internship program curated for young creatives to deep dive into small business & gain valuable career assets!

In 2018, our internship program was launched. Stemming from the simple idea that all students deserve an opportunity that checks the experience box on their resume. We set out to create an internship program that put the students abilities front & the amount of experience they have a fleeting thought!

Our internship program is a 12 week immersive learning experience for juniors and seniors looking to expand their experience in a creative environment. During the 12 weeks you spend with Auden & Company you will be exposed to

Each week is dedicated to exploring an asset that can be added to your creative toolkit that will help you build the foundation of your creative career. We encourage our internship participants to take advantage of the judge free zone and apply what they have learned in the classroom to their task list at ACO!

WEEKLY TEAM MEETINGS

We believe in conversational collaboration. As a part of our internship program, we ask that our interns be available for 2 to 3 meetings a week. Team meetings are essential to our dynamic as a team, as each department within the company relies on one another for creative success.
REAL RESPONSIBILITIES

During your 3 months here at Auden & Company, you will be tasked with responsibilities that directly correlate with our goals for the quarter. Whether you are leading a client project, running our social media channels or helping on the back end, I believe in real experience.
HEADSHOTS & PHOTOSHOOTS

As a way of saying thank you for dedicating your summer to Auden & Co, you will be asked to pose for professional headshots! In addition we are huge believers in capturing candid moments to preserve the memories of our summer through photos. So be camera ready!
TEAM OUTINGS

Summer is fun & so is your internship here at Auden & Company. We go on monthly adventures as a team to bond outside of the creative workdays. Our team outings can range from a day at the beach to Saturday at the Cleveland Flea. No business talk allowed on these trips just bonding in the summer heat.
BUSINESS CONVERSATIONS

We love small business! As a part of the internship program, we will meet with 2-3 small business owners for what we like to call “Business Conversations.” These conversations are dedicated to exposing our interns to other industries within the Cleveland area, in hopes of making a connection for the future.
TEAM LUNCHES

I’ve always believed that the greatest conversations happen over a shared meal! Our team lunches are a monthly break from the normal lunch hour, where we all bring one dish to share with one another. I encourage stories to be shared, I want to hear laughter and of course, food babies are welcome!

Graphic Design Intern

Does design excite you? Do you like seeing an idea blossom into a fully developed brand?
As a graphic design intern you will be in charge of brand ideation, design of your idea, creating mood boards, client work and designing assets for Auden & Company.
Here at Auden & Company, we want our graphic design interns to have true passion for storytelling. As a branding firm it is essential for us to be able to translate our clients journey into their brand identity.

Photography Intern

Do you love to capture the story or a moment? Is your camera an extension of your body? Are you interested to know what a branding session in the food, beauty or lifestyle industry looks like?
As a photography intern you will be working closely with Janae & our photographer Anita, to capture brand work for client’s, behind the scene imagery, and brand photography for Auden & Company.
A day in the life of a photography intern consists of prop lists, creating shot list, creating mood boards for our clients shoots, acting as a second shooter to our photographer Anita and of course editing.

Marketing Intern

Are you always on your phone? Do you know about software updates the moment they happen? Are you willing to try out new social media apps hoping you will be ahead of the trend!?
As a social media intern you will be working with the creative department to take the social media accounts of Auden & Company to the next level! You will be helping to manage both company social media accounts & client social media accounts. As well as brainstorm creative marketing methods & content!
A day in the life of a social media marketing intern consists of curating content for Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, & Youtube, helping to manage client social media accounts, pitching advertising ideas to Janae, & many other things that involve your phone!

Business Admin Intern

Does business excite you? Do you have a love for spreadsheets, to do list, cold emailing, scheduling? Are you interested to learn the ins and outs of a small business start-up in the heart of Cleveland!? YES....! Awesome!
With the biz admin internship, you will be working with Janae to run Auden & Company. This can range from helping with errands to new client outreach, running monthly reports & more. During our time at Auden & Company, you will help Janae determine methods of how we can improve as a small business as well share your thoughts on current client business operations!
Here at the company, we would love our business intern to be a problem solver, enjoys connecting with people, a researcher, and is not afraid to tackle a task!

Our deadline for application submissions is April 1st
College students in their junior to senior year can apply to be a part of our summer cohort.
Our internship program is an unpaid internship but we encourage students to be eligible to receive college credit.
The average weekly hours are 15 to 20 hours a week.
First loosen up and lean into your authentic self. Interviews can be daunting but I promise we have been where you are! Secondly, remember to submit your portfolio and be ready to answer your prompt!
We are working diligently to bring the Audenship to young creatives as a year round opportunity.
